Lomi Ha'a Mauli Ola sacred bodywork

Lomi Ha'a Mauli Ola is the original form of Shamanic Ritual Bodywork taught by the great Kahuna Abraham Kawai’i to Dharma Bodhi in the 1980’s. This sacred form of bodywork bears no resemblance to the commercialized “Lomi-Lomi” massages offered at high end spa’s, or new age Lomi Lomi workshops.

The giver of Lomi Ha'a Mauli Ola acts as a facilitator or a guide, helping individuals navigate their own healing journeys. In other words, by holding a grounded, professional and deeply respectful of the healing process approach, the giver creates and hosts a supportive environment where transformation and healing can occur.

My teacher, Dharma Bodhi, has passed on the techniques and knowledge of how to offer Lomi Ha'a Mauli Ola, to the number of international students during a 10-days retreat in France in September 2024, where I participated and became certified as a Lomi Ha'a Mauli Ola practitioner, Level 1.

Starting from October 2024 I am offering Lomi Ha'a Mauli Ola sessions free of charge, for a limited period of time, as an essential process of mastering my skills and as my spiritual practice.

A pre-dialogue is a necessary part of the session and needs to be held at least one week before the session. Please, contact me to agree on time before you book your Sunday slot with me.

Go forth in grace and beauty, let nothing bar your way!

About me

“Some time ago I was searching for someone who could help me live out a very intense experience that had a strong impact on my psychological and psychic health. I felt very clearly that I had to do something about it so that the emotions wont go deeper and create a negative imprint in my structure. I could not do that by myself and I was looking for help among the people who offered healing body- and breathwork.

The criteria for the practitioner that I formulated and wrote down were the following. it should be a person who:

  • - is unconditionally dedicated to the Light;
  • - energetically capable to hold both me and the space for me to be in during a vulnerable state of opening up;
  • - possessing enough life wisdom and have the necessary skills to form the experience into words.

To me these were very important qualities for a spiritual practitioner to have. If I should trust someone to help me heal, that person had to comply with all three of them.

I did some research and found a person who I thought could be the one I would entrust with healing my trauma and helping me move further. I was talking with that person on the phone and as I was listing the criteria that were important for me, it just struck me - I suddenly realized  - it was myself I was describing.

That realization has empowered me to finally find the tools within myself to release the stagnated emotion and to start the healing process.”

My name is Julia. The conscious mark of the beginning of my healing journey starts with me doing laying-on-hands on my auntie when she had broken her arm and was in pain for a long period. She used to say that the pain was decreasing a lot when she had my palms on the injured place. I was about 8 years old at that time.

I absorbed my grandma´s (on my father's side) stories, prayers and some special wordings for purifying space, waving away nightmares, speaking away illness and others, which I carry with me still.

I took a Reiki I initiation when I was 20 and was following the teachings of Karma Kague lineage as well as practicing meditation within the buddhist tradition of Diamond Way under guidance of Lama Ole Nidal.

Long after I moved to Sweden, I found my way to yoga. I came across a silent meditation retreat at a place that also offered tantric yoga and meditation classes, which I studied on a weekly basis for 3,5 years. Today, practice continues. Those studies have given me the language and numerous tools for evolving as a spiritual practitioner and finding sacredness in any thing I chose to focus on in daily life.

I have been offering yin yoga classes at a local gym weekly for 3 years, combining this with a full time job and private sessions during weekends at the Green Temple.

Being a lomilomi practitioner for me means a life opportunity to offer unconditional care and healing within a joyful, light and truly uplifting frame of this bodywork to the people who are searching for the way home to the highest Self. Spirituality and healing can also be joyful, this is something that Hawaiians remind us about by sharing this sacred practice with the rest of the world.

The effects of Ha’a Maoli Lomi bodywork can be highly beneficial for you who is:

  • - searching for ways for trauma release;
  • - experiencing overwhelming emotions that need to be led out of the body (stress, tensions, grief, feeling of hopelessness, stagnation, etc);
  • - searching for further steps in life and need guidance from within;
  • - in need of experience of light, joy and unconditional care;
  • - in need of re-connecting to your Higher Self, your guiding spirits, the spirits of your ancestors.

The reasons are not limited to the mentioned above. Let your intuition tell you how you resonate with the texts and if your mind still has questions, do not hesitate to contact me to get the answers.

Aloha!

/Julia
